Integrate and Activate your campaign

Learn how to integrate your campaign on your site and with your communications with customers

To navigate to the Integrate section, select the campaign, you want to share and activate, from the left hand side and click on the Integrate tab at the top of the page.

1. Activate your Campaign

Activating your campaign is easy, just click on the Activate button from anywhere in your account or check the box in Integrate & Active screen. Once active your customers will be able to start signing up!

2. Share your campaign with customers using email

Gather provides you with a link, which you can copy and paste into an email, which you can share with your customers in email communications.

Simply copy and paste the link provided into your email.

To personalise the link, substitute "Email" and "Name" with the email and name of your customer.

3. Share your campaign in your newsletter (using Mailchimp)

Where you are using Mailchimp to send communications to customers Gather provides you with a link you can use to insert into your Mailchimp newsletter.

Simply copy and paste the link provided.

To integrate your MailChimp account with Gather click on the Fetch Data From MailChimp button, wait a few minutes, and your existing lists will appear. Select the list you want to associate with your campaign and which tags you want to add to your newly acquired email addresses.

4. Share a link to your campaign

Finally, if you want to share a link to your referral campaign via different channels e.g Facebook Messenger then Gather has provided a generic link which you can copy and paste.

5. How to embed the referral interface in-line on a page

With Gather, you can embed your referral campaign, on your site, with our sidebar interface. Now, you can also make the choice to embed your referral interface, in-line, on a page of your site.

To access the code required to integrate your campaign on a page, navigate to the ‘integrate’ section of your Gather account to the following:

The first line of code (in orange above) will embed your campaign on the page, within an i-Frame. See image below for example of the code on our site. For the i-Frame to appear you will need to include a width and height for the <div> in your code.

You can make adjustments to the styling of the <div>, like the one provided (in yellow above). Here we have stipulated the height and width of the <div>, given it a border and included a margin.

Below is a snap shot of the code we have used to embed our example campaign on our page.

When you load up the page on which you have embedded your campaign, a loading spinner will appear whilst Gather loads up on the page.

Remember, if you make any changes on this section you must click on save changes for the changes to be implemented.
