How to Duplicate a Campaign with Gather

Save time with Gather’s campaign duplication feature

With a Gather account you can set up multiple referral campaigns. Perhaps you want to run similar campaigns at certain times of year or you simply want to tweak a campaign to provide different offerings whilst maintaining an existing campaign’s settings. With Gather, you can duplicate a campaign with the click of a button, saving you time copying and pasting your campaign settings.

When you duplicate a campaign, all the editing, branding, preference and integrations are maintained from the original campaign.

The 3 steps to duplicating a campaign are;

  1. Duplicate a Campaign with the Click of a Button

  2. Rename your Campaign

  3. Upload Reward Codes

  4. Activating your New Campaign

  1. Duplicate a Campaign with the Click of a Button

To duplicate a campaign, navigate your way to the ‘Preferences’ section of your account. Scroll down to the bottom and click on the ‘Duplicate Campaign’ button.

Clicking the duplicate campaign button will generate a copy of your campaign. This will appear in the side bar as a deactivated campaign with ‘copy’ appended.

2. Rename your Campaign

To change the name of the new duplicated campaign, select the campaign and change the name in the Preferences section.

3. Upload Reward Codes

If your campaign uses reward codes, you will need to upload new discount codes for the new campaign. You can do this in the rewards section of the campaign. For more information on uploading reward codes see here.

4. Activating your New Campaign

Your new campaign is now ready to be activated. Remember if you are running multiple campaigns you will need to ensure campaigns are not running in the same location. You can change the location and positioning of a campaign in the Editor section.

Gather’s checklist is a useful tool to ensure you are ready to deploy. This is located in the top right hand corner by the activation button.
